Top Nigerian rapper and head of YBNL, Olamide Adedeji on Tuesday signed a deal with pan-African Satellite TV provider, PlayTV.
The deal, Daily Trust learnt, may enable Olamide popularly called Baddosneh provide exclusive contents to the Cable TV network.
Speaking at the formal signing of the contract between PlayTV and the YBNL boss in Lagos, PlayTV’s General Manager, Funmi Adenaike said the cable network is delighted to welcome Olamide into its fold.
She said Olamide is joining the likes of Labi Olayori and Adediwura Blarkgold as brand ambassadors of PlayTV.
In his reaction, the hip-hop sensation commended PlayTV for its unwavering commitment to the creative industry and talent development in Nigeria, especially in providing local contents for its viewers.
The Baddosneh crooner urged everyone to support PlayTV, adding that his brand will continuously support the Cable TV network in its bid to promote local contents.
It will be recalled that PlayTV, (formerly known as CONSAT), is a Nigerian Pay TV which offers best local content in music hits, exclusive movies, entertainment, cartoon, comedy, lifestyle and fashion etc.
It also has over 50 premium international and local channels which include TVC, NTA, HFA TV, 1Music, FilmBox Africa, KBS World, Mount Zion TV, Fox E, Colors, FixnFoxi, Irawo, DocuBox, Zoom, Azurfa, and Talent Sports, among others.
