Old students’ association urges Aregbesola to renovate former school

Addressing a press conference at the 50th anniversary of the school, the president of the association, Pastor Adesoji Ajibade lamented the deterioration condition of the school, alleging that successive governments have neglected it.
“Structures in the school have been abandoned without proper maintenance; cracks all over the buildings, parts of the roofing sheets were blown off by wind and the floors in most of the classrooms were scooped out,” he regretted.
Ajibade, who commended the education policy of Aregbesola’s administration, appealed to the governor to come to the aid of his former school through general renovating.
“The association is ready to contribute its quota for the renovation of the school. We are also appealing to government to deploy more teachers to the school. For the teachers, we urge you to be committed to your duties,” he said.
Twenty two personalities including founder of the school, Chief Fadeyi and some former principals of the school were honoured with various awards for their contributions to the development of the school.
