The entry of OLED TV into the Nigerian Consumer Electronics market has no doubt raise the bar for other competing brands.
But LG Electronics said its 4K OLED TV with a resolution of 3840 x 2160p delivers cinematic colour for an amazing clear and beautiful Ultra High Definition picture quality to the delight of consumers.
It said the Ultra High Definition [HD] Resolution which is 4-times the resolution of the full HD TV ensures every picture detail is revealed.
Commenting on the technology behind OLED TV Mr. Vanjamin Kim, GM Home Entertainment Division, LG Electronics West Africa operation said; “OLED TV is simply unbeatable in the consumer electronics market in comparison to what other brands are offering. The creative innovation used in designing the OLED TV would blow your mind any day any time with this; competitors have been placed on their toes for a long time to come.”
But what consumers need to understand is that “QLED” is simply an LCD TV inserted with a Quantum Dot sheet which is the same structure as the 2016 SUHD TV.
It is better described as part and parcel of the LED evolutionary technological trend which automatically qualifies it as one of the many TVs competing for LCD revolutionary technologies. This obviously places it in a class of its own.
However, it is important to note that LG OLED TVs uses lighting technology which automatically qualifies it as 4K; this obviously this is a Premium TVs from LG which supports multiple HDR formats experience, with Dolby vision that can deliver cinematic HDR10 experience. This is has clearly placed it ahead of others in the industry.
