The tactical flexibility displayed by teams, the fast-paced and attacking football seen after a long season, the impact made by individual attacking players and the successful implementation of both goal-line technology (GLT) and vanishing spray are among the key conclusions of FIFA’s technical experts. The document is available on FIFA.com. A DVD with the main findings will be distributed to all member associations for educational purposes.
The TSG report is set to take centre stage as FIFA kick starts a series of technical conferences in Panama City on 11 September.
The events are intended as platforms for FIFA, the confederations and the member associations to focus on the technical and tactical analysis of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The head coaches and technical directors of all FIFA member associations have been invited to join the conferences.
