Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo on Thursday visited the widow of the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, saying the late monarch was a paramount ruler who lived for the service of humanity during his life.
The former head of state who arrived Popoyemoja, Ibadan family house of the late monarch around 7.10 am said the rotational Chairman, Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs lived for the service of family, community, state and the nation.

Meanwhile, the activities marking the exit of Olubadan continue on Saturday when traditionalists would be at Popoyemoja at 11.00 am to offer prayers.
On Sunday at 10.00am, Muslims are expected to offer the eighth-day fidau prayer for the repose of Olubadan at Mapo Hall, Ibadan, while Christian service will hold at 4.00 pm at the same venue.
