As awareness about solar as alternative power source continues to grow in Nigeria, Omatek has embarked on training of local electricians to provide after sales support for various hybrid power solutions currently being deployed by the firm.
The firm also stressed the need for full adoption of solar technological solutions as well as usage of light emitting diodes bulbs (LED) in Nigeria.
Omatek Chief Executive Officer, Florence Seriki during a facility tour of the firm in Lagos advised industries including banks, telecommunications, medics, schools, manufacturing companies and other private firms to maximise their production capacity with solar compact hybrid power lightening industrial technologies.
According to her, the solution reduces cost by as much as 85 per cent as solar technology innovation has helped to address the challenges power generation for production and lightening.
Blaming the failure of most hybrid solutions on overloading, Seriki explained that if the solution is used to power electrical gadgets, based on the capacity of the entire solution, there is guarantee that it will serve for a longer period of time, based on the lifespan of the solar panel.
According to her, the Omatek hybrid solution is a combination of solar panel, inverter of various capacities and batteries of various capacities, including low energy consumption bulbs.
