When will the Nigerian authorities be roused into taking action on the poor and narrow road between Lokoja and Abuja? Countless news reports have been done on the poor state of the road and the countless lives it has claimed and is still claiming every day yet the authorities concerned have done nothing about it. This is ridiculous. Human life counts for something and the government owes it to its citizens to protect their lives. The Abuja-Lokoja road is a death trap; the authorities must do something to stop the carnage on the road.
