In August, attention turned to the FCT and Nasarawa, where investigations showed some security agents have been flouting regulations meant to counter the spread of Covid-19

The investigation is part of the Covid-19 Reality Check Project 2020 implemented by the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism.

In this visual story, Ikechukwu Ibe capture police, vehicle inspection officers, traffic wardens, road safety officials and soldiers flouting Covid-19 restrictions.

The investigation also revealed that offending officers are found wanting during the course of their duties at their various duty posts in the area covered.

In this regard, the attention of the authority is called upon to checkmate the activities of some of these security agents out there on the street and make sure they comply with the restriction of wearing a face mask so to encourage the citizens.
