On how not to represent journalism…

None of these newspapers or any of the other serious newspapers in the country is practising unethical journalism like the Desert Herald. The Desert Herald does its stories in a way that shows it is fighting the people, not passing information to its readers. It shows that the newspaper has an agenda different from what newspapers are established to do, which is to inform, educate and entertain. For this reason, I call on the NUJ, the Nigeria Press Council and the Guild of Editors to ban and sanction Desert Herald.
