On release of 32,000 tons of grains to Jigawa poor

Recently, the Jigawa State government announced plans to distribute over 32,000 tons of grains to the poor to cushion their suffering as a result of high price of food stuff in the country. Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar disclosed this at an interactive session. Everybody in the country is aware of the cost of living at the moment, so the gesture will go a long way in assuaging the suffering.
I therefore commend the governor for this gesture and I urge other government officials to come up with policies that will benefit the masses.
