Pittsburgh is now home to the production, and leaked images have been coming thick and fast from the set. Some also feature spoilers, so be warned, you might want to look away now.

There are a series of shots of Bane, played by British actor Tom Hardy, in full costume that looks to be heavily modified from that of the comics. The face mask appears to also be a breathing apparatus, which could go some way to justify how director, Christopher Nolan, is going to explain the super-strength element of the character. The mask itself is quite different to the look of Bane that we are used to. Gone is the Mexican wrestler look and in comes a far more intimidating appearance.

As if all that wasn’t enough, an even more exciting series of paparazzi photos have surfaced which show Bane facing off against Batman himself. It’s a full-on fight sequence, in broad daylight, with various good guys and bad guys surrounding the warring pair.
