On that gubernatorial land grab in Ekiti…

Recently, the Ekiti State government under the leadership of Ayodele Fayose seized lands belonging to the Muslim community and there were protests in the state. The land was reserved for building a mosque, Islamic school and a hospital. In the Nigerian constitution, there is freedom of land ownership. The federal government should wade in, as well as agencies responsible for human rights. There should be an amicable way out of the mess.
