On the increased rate of divorce

We celebrate wedding ceremonies wholeheartedly as if they are the first experience of joy and happiness in our whole life with all expectations that they will last. But in the long run, marriages fail due to our insincerity, materialism, indiscipline and other complex social problems that are eating away at the fabrics of most family foundations today. The problem also starts from the first approach. Men nowadays are not telling ladies the truth about their monetary worth. Some men are just too selfish. They don’t care about the needs or feelings of their wives and they tend to treat their wives like servants after marriage.  The way out for couples is to fear Allah and respect one another, having a good sense of humour, knowing how to have fun and being willing to adapt to new situations or circumstances.
