After the excitement of an action weekend, we spent most of the time in circular of confusion as a result of small misunderstanding. The state and the national working committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were still holding fast to their tradition enclaves although both were surreptitiously encroaching into other’s territories.
Now, we don’t have I belongs to this camp or I don’t belongs to that.
The most important part of the meeting is that; the first list of the Ward congresses in Kaduna State is the only list known and acceptable to all members of the party, also all suspended PDP members Must be returned unconditionally, and all court cases should be withdrawn with immediate effect. And one important angle is that all State Caretaker Committee shall be dissolved and new one to be constituted in due course.
Though figures are not yet available of how many people left the party as the result of the in-house crises, which lead to some party loyalists either suspended or left on their own.
Our prayers is that, from now on the officials of the party, NEC and most importantly the elders, should start preparing and delegating elders for the reconciliation and preparation for 2023 general elections, so that the outcome will be “clean sweeps and slams.”
It might be well be true that through 2019 elections, the ruling party and other politicians bribed their way with small amount of money, cups of rice, pieces of indomie e.t.c to get back, after we all know that the masses and the elites are not interested on the way they were driving the country.
Also, we are all aware they threatened those who defy them, with intimidation and other way of violating human right of every voter, which lead to the manipulations of figures and other sensitive materials.
Lastly, comes 2023 we all know they have power, and we have people. We’ll be back soon. It is now left for people to decide on their own.
