It’s disheartening the way road marshals behave in Abuja. I am talking about the VIOs and Road Safety. They don’t even lead by example in the first place because their cars are always in terrible condition. In fact, recently, one of their trucks passed with four people sitting at the back, yet they look for every opportunity to intimidate road users. Recently, they practically harassed a pregnant woman who also had a child seated at the back of the car. Even in the line of duty, it’s important to be humane and considerate.
