The Ona of Abaji and chairman of the FCT Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, has decried epileptic power supply in the area.

Speaking when he received the coordinator of Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD), Isyaku Tanko Yamawo, and his team at his palace on Monday, the traditional ruler said though he always advised his subjects to cooperate with the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) in paying their electricity bills, supply has not been stable.

He said even when his subjects come to him to complain about paying bills without electricity, he advised them to pay in order to avoid any rancour with officials of the electricity company. 

He told the STDD coordinator to assist in reaching out to management of the AEDC in Abuja, to ascertain why the people of his chiefdom were always in darkness.

Yamawo, who inspected the collapsed part of Yaba-Abaji road, assured the traditional ruler of Yaba, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu, that arrangements were under way to commence work in the area.
