The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has allocated 436 Hajj slots to Ondo State for the 2023 Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

The Chairman of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Zikrullah-Chandy Adam, who disclosed this on Thursday in Akure, described the 2022 Hajj as an emergency operation after the COVID-19 pandemic, assuring improvement to ensure hitch-free 2023 Hajj operations.

He noted that Muslim faithful had already filled the whole of the 436 slots allotted to the state out of the 96,000 slots allocated to Nigeria by the Saudi Arabian Government. (NAN)
