In the wake of crisis rocking the legislature in Ondo state, Nigeria Labour Congress has directed parliamentary workers in the state to sit at home.

According to a statement issued by the Ondo Assembly chapter of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria in Akure and signed by its chairman, Araulene Felix, the workers were instructed to stay away indefinitely from the Assembly until enabling environment for work is provided and security of  its members could be guaranteed.

The group noted its members are civil servants who have nothing to do with the crisis in the assembly adding that members are not likely to be recalled until the assault on the Paymaster of the Assembly, Adesina Makanjuola is addressed.
