One person was confirmed dead and 10 others injured in an accident at Lumoh village along Olooru/Shao expressway, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The crash, which occurred on Saturday, involved a commercial Volkswagen Sharon bus with registration number KEY 875 ZF and a white-coloured DAF truck. An eye witness said the crash involved eleven persons; eight males and three females.
The Sector Commandant of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kwara, Jonathan Owoade, confirmed the accident and attributed it to overspeeding.
He said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited in Hospital.
