One person died yesterday in a lone road accident in Osogbo, the state capital.
The accident which occurred at the Secretariat Roundabout involved a white Toyota Hiace bus with registration number EKY 213 XP.
One of the passengers of the bus died on the spot while 18 others–eight males and 10 females–sustained injury.
The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Paul Okpe confirmed the incident to City News.
Okpe, who spoke through the public relations officer of the corps, Agnes Ogungbemi, said the accident might be a result of overspeeding.
