One killed, 12 injured as bandits invade Kaduna town

One person was killed while 12 others sustained injuries in an attack at Madaka area of Kachia town in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State Wednesday night.
Daily Trust gathered that the attack occurred around 11pm.

A community leader confirmed that one person was killed in the attack.
The Kaduna State Police Command confirmed the attack, saying at least 12 people who sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, however, said he could not ascertain if anyone was abducted.
He added that a meeting had been conveyed with the police area commander to get details of the attack.
