The Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management (CIPDM) has said only diplomatic processes can help move Nigeria forward.
The national president of CIPDM, Prof Mike Ikupolati, who disclosed this at the induction ceremony of new members in Abuja, yesterday, said the body is partnering with other institutes like the National Assembly to see how diplomatic processes can help move Nigeria forward.
Ikupolati said this year’s conference with the theme ‘Enhancing Productivity Through Diplomacy: A Strategic Management Option’ provided a forum where members discussed current topical issues and proffered solutions to them so that diplomatic processes could be used to move the country forward.
He said the federal government must realize that Nigeria’s problem is not a political, religious or ethnic one, but a diplomatic one so we must adopt diplomatic strategies using our brains.
