President Bola Tinubu’s former spokesman, and chairman of forum of former members of Enugu State House of Assembly Denge. Dr. Josef umunnakwe Onoh, has felicitated with the Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Olanipekun Olukoyede, on his birthday.
Onoh in a goodwill message to the anti graft czar urged him to defile all obstacle and continue his fight against corruption since the greatest threat to democracy is not from external enemies but from internal corruption.
“I wish you happy birthday and many more happier years ahead. As I wish you the strength to continue in the fight against corruption may you always remember that the power of law enforcement comes from the people. You and the entire agents of the EFCC are their servants, not their masters.
“As an effective law enforcement officer, you must be fearless and relentless in other to redeem the nation from the nemesis of corruption that has tainted the international reputation and integrity of Nigeria.
“As we celebrate you today, never forget that the legacy of a law enforcement officer is not measured by the number of enemies he made, but by the lives he saved,” Onoh commended.
