“The President should do away with actions bothering on increase in the cost of fuel or engaging in such other unpopular anti-people action,” he told jouralists in the Oyo state capital.

“It will not only heat up the polity, but it will also erode his (Jonathan’s) influence and bring more catastrophe into governance,” the cleric said just as he advocated massive national prayers to restore total peace and stability in the country.

Apostle Oluyemi also enjoined the international community to rise up in prayers and action against the contemplated execution of Pastor Youseff Nadarkhani of the Islamic Republic of Iran declaring that it is simply an act of terrorism against mankind.

“If allowed to come into reality, the planned execution of the Iranian cleric would be like a snake swallowing a toad which can bring forth its own death also,” he said

Pastor Nadarkhani had been charged and faces execution, solely on the basis of his adopting Christian faith.

An Iranian court in Rasht had persistently asked Pastor Nadarkhani to renounce his faith in court, but he refused to do so.

The last time such kind of proposed execution was done in Iran was in 1990.
