The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, would be conferred with the Honorary Doctor of Letters by Obafemi Awolowo University OAU Ile-Ife during its 45th Convocation Ceremony.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede said this Thursday, while speaking on activities lined up for the 45th convocation the 60th anniversary of the university.

He said that the founder of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State and Chairman, Elizade Group of Companies, Chief Michael Ade Ojo, would also be conferred with the Honorary Doctor of Business Administration.
The VC said out of a total number of 7,634 graduands that would be awarded various degrees, 109 make First Class while 1,681 made Second Class and 2,707 and fell into Lower Division.
He said 690 graduands fall under the Third Class category and 70 would graduate with Pass.
Ogunbodede said the graduates been found worthy both in learning and character. He said they were prepared to create jobs rather than seeking employment.
He said, “For the Postgraduate Degrees, where we have Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Masters, Master with Research Thesis, Masters of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy respectively, this prestigious University will graduate 1,637 graduands across our 13 faculties”.
“158 would be awarded Non-Degree Diplomas in the Faculty of Administration, Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Science.”
