Open letter to Gov. Ganduje

Sir, when you came to power and even during your campaigns you promised to build your government upon the legacies of the erstwhile administrations, Part of your promises was empowering of Kano youths so that they may contribute effectively and efficiently to the development of their State and the country at large. During the time of Kwankwaso, the govenment sponsored a number of students to universities abroad to study various fields of endeavour. And these sponsored students are part of the promises you made that your government would take good care of them but unfortunately, these students are now left to suffer untold hardships in foreign countries. They have been turned into International Beggars because the Kano State Government under your watch has neglected them.
Sir please, how long will you be giving excuse to our government sponsored students that the government has no money? Hundreds of our brothers and sisters are out there vulnerable with no tuition fee and no monthly allowances. You can’t keep fooling us that you are trying your best on these students. I don’t know what you mean by ‘best’ though. How did you possibly manage to buy the legislators exotic cars worth hundreds of millions and you still tell us ‘no money’? What’s the possible fault of these students that they are allowed to suffer?
Oh…don’t tell us they will suffer because of Kwankwaso. Many of these students are girls and are currently kicked out of their houses because they can’t renew the payment. We will not forgive you should anything happen to any of these students as a result of your nonchalant attitude towards them. I must say what I thought of you as a good person and will make a progressive governor is a total disappointment. Baba Ganduje if you continue like this don’t even dream of making it by 2019.
Ibraheem Adam, Kano.
