Are you a student or a tech developer and young at what you do? Here are some opportunities curated by the Daily Trust Youthville for you this week. Explore them with a mindset of success and you could be among the winners.

$35,000 contest for girls tech startup closes in 4 weeks

Entry for a challenge worth $35,000 prize for Girls in Tech Startup globally is ongoing and will be open until about four weeks.

The organisers in a statement said the contest has helped many female founders access funding, mentorship, and media exposure over the last eight years since it was initiated.

The team stated that the challenge has given the beneficiaries the nudge they needed to properly ideate, map out, and prepare their product for launch to market.

Young women in the technology space are encouraged to apply by pitching a brilliant idea that could develop legs through the challenge.

There are three categories of awards with the first-place prize worth $20,000, the second-place prize is $10,000 and the third-place prize is $5,000, making it a cumulative $35,000 prize annual challenge.

Interested participants must be at least 18 years old and are female founders with the startup hub younger than two years.

The startup must have a software or hardware product and does not have more than $2 million in funding. If you are a young woman and tech guru with these criteria, then there is a chance till November 25, 2022 to apply.
