Mallam Abdulazeez Yinka Oniyagi, North Central Coordinator of Tinubu Support Organization (TSO), has said the fear of Tinubu/Shetima ticket is forcing the opposition to sponsor the Muslim-Muslim narrative in the polity.
This is just as the Director General of TSO, Hon Aminu Suleiman, has said the group would return to the drawing board not to repeat the ‘mistake’ the party made in Osun State on Saturday.
He further expressed optimism in Asiwju Bola Tinubu’ emergence in the 2023 presidential election despite the APC defeat in Osun.
They both spoke in Ilorin, Kwara State, while hinting on plans to organize a one-million-man-match for the APC candidate.
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC was defeated by the PDP candidate, Ademola Adeleke by 403,371 to 375,027 votes in the keenly contested election.
According to Suleiman, “We have to go back to our drawing board and see the amendments we are going to do to make sure that the mistake does not happen again”.
On his part, Oniyangi noted that Tinubu entered the race with his record performance as Governor of Lagos State and the narrative had not changed.
“When he appointed Masari as Vice president, nobody said anything but when he brought out Shettima who is a threat to the opposition, the narrative change”, he added.
