Operation Safe Haven, the multi-security taskforce in charge of security in Plateau, parts of Southern Kaduna and Bauchi State has warned that the rising activities of cultists said to be terrorising a certain area in Jos North will no longer be tolerated. 

Operation Safe Haven Media and Information Officer, Major Adam Umar, stated in a statement that the special taskforce in collaboration with sister security agencies are working to ensure that such criminals whose activities are predominantly around Anguwan Jarawa, Gada Biyu and Bukuru are tracked, arrested and prosecuted. 

Umar stated this while responding to Monday’s attack on motorists by irate youths following the discovery of a young man’s corpse around Anguwan Jarawa behind Farin Gada tomato market in Jos North.

He said the task force had made several arrests in connection with activities of cultists and efforts are on to stop further loss of lives.
