The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has urged the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to always opt for dialogue to resolve labour issues with government or private sector employers.
Abbas stated this in a statement by his media aide Musa Krishi to felicitate Nigerian workers on this year’s Workers’ Day.
He urged the workers to be patriotic and dedicated to their fatherland and assured them of better welfare under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He said the policies and programmes of the current administration are geared towards creating more jobs and reducing unemployment rates.
