Oracle’s Vice President (development) John Aisien, who disclosed this in Abuja at the Oracle Day conference, said the training has become imperative because IT education needed to be simplified for pupils in the country.
According to him Aisien, virtually everything in the world today is run on IT and everyone has to have a grasp of it.    
The Oracle boss, who did not say when the training would start and the form it will take, however said all the geopolitical regions in the country will benefit from the training.
Meanwhile, Oracle has opened its first satellite office in Abuja to get closer to more of public sector customers in the city.
The office was opened by Vice President of Turkey, Central Asia and Africa, Gurhan Kalelioglu who said the public sector is a key industry for Oracle.
“Oracle provides public-sector leaders with a complete, open, and integrated suite of applications, servers, and storage solutions engineered to work together to optimize every aspect of government operations. With our regional head office in Lagos and the investment into Abuja, we are well positioned to service our existing public sector customers and to create new opportunities”, Kaleliogu said at the ceremony.
