The Zion Home’s founder, Blessing Williams, whose husband died in the ADC crash, spoke as a group, Elegant and Galaxy Women Empowerment Association, donated food items and toiletries to the home. Williams said it was a “thing of relief to have the association recognize it for a visitation,” as the home has since born the burden of feeding its occupants with ‘little or no help.’
President of Elegant and Galaxy, Salma Ahmed, said the group selected Zion Home because of “continuous neglect of rural-based orphanages by the government and other rich groups.’’  
She also prayed for the sustenance of the orphanage, urging the children there to aspire for higher position in life as their present social status would not hinder them from becoming great men and women in future.
