Osabinu congratulates Yakassai on appointment as DG Tinubu Support Group

Femi Osabinu, Board Member, National University of Science and Technology, Abuja, (NUSTA), has congratulated Dr. Umar Tanko Yakassai on his appointment as the Director General of the Tinubu Support Group.

In a statement, Osabinu said Yakasai’s appointment is a testament to his “unwavering” commitment to the development of grassroots politics.

The statement added: “His wealth of experience, expertise, strong leadership, and direction makes him ideal fit to steer the affairs of the group to mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu’s vision for a better Nigeria.

“As a grassroots politician, we are confident that Dr. Yakassai’s appointment will enhance genuine supporters for President Tinubu, leveraging on his extensive network and experience while he served as a special adviser on employment to Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje during his tenure as Governor of Kano State, and furthermore, while he held a prestigious position of Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students.
