Osho: Kogi United ready for National League

Kogi United, who are in Group A will begin their fresh life in National League under Fatai Osho with a home game against Ranchers Bees of Kaduna at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium today.
Coach Osho said the team is set to begin its ambition of gaining promotion to the Premier League on a good note against Ranchers, which he believes is the only way to give back to the state government for providing an enabling environment for the team.
“We are fully ready for the season. We don’t have any complain, the players are happy with welfare given which makes them to be in good frame of mind ahead and we have produced a team that can win and entertain the supporters and fans”.
The former handler of Remo Stars noted that it’s still a familiar terrain for him, and is ready to use his experience gathered in the previous season in the NNL to his advantage, just as he called on soccer fans in the state to give total support to the team.
“Though it is another group, but it’s still the same league, we have well known clubs here in this group, we can only respect them, we will not fear them, and any team that underrate us is at its own peril”.
