Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said that several local producers are taking advantage of the current situation of the naira by exporting at competitive prices. He said the federal government was looking forward to “bigger export levels.”
Addressing journalists in Abuja yesterday after inspecting various exhibition stands at the ongoing Small and Medium Enterprises Conference 2016, Osinbajo said the government would work closely with SMEs to raise exportation levels.
He specifically assured that the government would partner with SMEs and local exporters to address some of the bottlenecks and obstacles in their business, particularly access to finance.
Lagos school abduction: Kidnappers demand for undisclosed ransom

The gunmen that abducted the vice principal of Igbonla Senior and Junior Model College, Epe and four students of the school have allegedly communicated with three families of their victims demanding for an undisclosed ransom.
A competent source told Daily Trust the gunmen contacted the families between 2am and 4am yesterday. It was learnt that during the brief conversation, the kidnappers assured the concerned families of the safety of the victims but warned that they must do as they directed.
