Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen, are among dignitaries for this year’s annual judges’ workshop on petroleum, gas and power.

The event, which is being organised by the International Institute for Petroleum, Energy Law and Policy (IIPELP), in conjunction with the National Judicial Institute (NJI), is expected to begin on June 20.

Other public officials expected at the programme include: President, Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa; Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Ibrahim Auta; Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN); Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; and the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu.

The organisers of the workshop, through the founder of IIPEP and Professor of Energy Law and Policy, Niyi Ayoola-Daniels, said the third annual event had become imperative considering series of reforms that the petroleum, gas and power sector was going through.
