The acting president Yemi Osinbanjo is expected to deliver the keynote address at the maiden summit on financing the creative industry.
The event which is scheduled to hold next week according to organizers of the event will also have the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, give the opening address.
The two-day summit is scheduled to hold on July 17 & 18 in Lagos, according to a statement by the organizers, Creative Nigeria.
The organisers also states that the summit is aimed at creating a platform which will provide key information on the essential elements of financing film, television & music production in Nigeria.
The event draws from a deep cross-section of speakers from Nigeria and around the world including CEO of Iroko TV, Jason Njoku, Founder and Group MD/CEO of Filmhouse Cinemas and FilmOne as well as Senior Vice President & Managing Director at Viacom International Media Networks Africa, Alex Okosi, amongst others.
