Mr Igbalawole Sotiyo has assumed duty as the new Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Osun State.
A statement by Kehinde Adeleke, the Public Relations Officer of the Corps in the state, on Thursday in Osogbo, said the NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Audi, approved the deployment of Sotiyo to the state.

Adeleke said the new commandant succeeded Dr Michael Adaralewa, who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant General (ACG) NSCDC.
Sotiyo, the statement said, hails from Abeokuta in Ogun and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Public Administrations from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun. (NAN)
