Insecurity has become a thorn in the flesh of Nigerians. Crime seems to have been normalised. Everyone is scared to ply the road for fear of being attacked. I celebrate with the people of Osun State because of the passing of the death penalty bill for kidnappers, ritualists and bandits.

This move would further drive home the point that insecurity has no place in the state. So, any kidnapper, ritualist or bandit found guilty will most likely face a death penalty. This would go a long way in eradicating insecurity. It would be nice if the Federal Government took a page from Osun State’s playbook.
