A new service that will help car buyers escape the tricks of dishonest automobile sellers has been introduced into the Nigerian market.

Known as ‘vehicle window sticker’, the new product, unveiled by VehicleCheck, an international car database company based in Canberra, Australia, will carry all information about a car especially important details that help buyers make informed decisions before a purchase.

VehicleCheck’s Executive Vice President for United States, Canada and Africa, Mr Idowu Banjo, revealed that the technology will prevent automobile dealers from presenting misleading information to potential customers.

According to him, vehicle window sticker will display details like vehicle make, model, features, price, fuel economy, safety, and crash test ratings to enable end users to decide if they want to put their money on it or not.

He said, “The vehicle window sticker is important because it will bring about genuineness and trust in the car sales business and industry at large.

“It will help car sellers advertise their vehicles better and also enable them not to make bad investment decisions.

“As a forward-looking service provider in the global automobile industry, we have come into the picture to address this problem.

“The new product will help buyers understand the vehicle’s specifications and compare it with other models on the market.

“It will also reveal how fuel-efficient the vehicle is and the warranty details. This will be very useful for car sellers, especially those who import used vehicles from other parts of the world.

“By simply logging in to vehiclechecks.net and inputting their vehicle identification number, users can take advantage of this service for a very friendly cost.

“This system is powered by the latest technology in the industry and we are glad that people in Nigeria can now join others from around the world to take advantage this great initiative.”
