There was palpable excitement and heartfelt gratitude in Paikoro as over 200 women from vulnerable and low-income households received empowerment support from the Founder of the Future Pathways Foundation, Hajia Saadatu Sani Musa.
The empowerment initiative, which included undisclosed financial support alongside a bag of rice for each beneficiary, took place during the commissioning of the Cassava Processing Centre at Jabo Jere Ward, Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State. Hajia Saadatu Sani Musa attended the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour, lending both warmth and significance to the event.
The cassava processing scheme was initiated by the Member representing Paikoro State Constituency, Hon. Umar Nasiru, who described the project as a critical step toward boosting agricultural value chains, creating jobs and improving livelihoods at the grassroots.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Nasiru commended Hajia Saadatu Sani Musa for her relentless and people-centred interventions, particularly her consistent support for vulnerable women across the constituency. He said her gesture complemented the objective of the cassava processing centre by directly addressing household welfare and strengthening women’s economic resilience.
The beneficiaries, drawn from across the Paikoro area, expressed deep appreciation for the timely intervention, describing it as a vital support amid prevailing economic challenges.
