The appointees comprised presidents and members of the various customary courts located all over the 33 local government areas of the state.
Addressing the new customary courts presidents and members at their inauguration at the historic Parliament Building, Ibadan, Governor Ajimobi enjoined them to justify their appointments by living above board and shunning bribery and corruption in all ramifications.
Specifically, he advised them to be wary of charlatans at all times.
While urging the customary court presidents and members to see their appointment as dividends of democracy from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government in Oyo State, Ajimobi urged the appointees to help the government in reconciling with those who, even though were qualified for the offices, but could not be appointed due to limited available spaces.
