Speaking at a special court session organised to formally introduce five newly-appointed judges in the state to the bar and the bench, the chief judge remarked that “the office of a judge is a hallowed one and every entrant to the sacred office must be hardworking, conscientious and generally above every form of reproach.”

Hon. Justice Adeniji who retires as the first female Chief Judge of Oyo State, also reiterated the directive of the National Judicial Council (NJC) to judges in the country to ensure prompt writing and delivery of judgments and rulings, failure of which results in slow dispensation of justice.
While noting that the appointment of the new judges showed that the establishment reposed a lot of trust in them, the retiring chief judge said  that “a judicial officer must put a lot of effort into the writing and delivery of judgments and rulings so that he will not fall short of the expectation of the regulations.”
The newly-appointed judges who were sworn in by the state Governor, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, on June 26, 2014 and formally presented to the bar and bench are: Abosede Bolaji, Kamoru Olawoyin, Mojisola Sule, Omolara Adeyemi, and Lateef Ganiyu.
Responding on behalf of his colleagues, Hon. Justice Bolaji promised to abide by the ethics of the office and prayed God to help them.
