Oyo reps member hails Raji, Jaji for building mosques in Iseyin, Birnin Magaji

The member representing Iseyin/Kajola/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep Najimdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji (O’shine) has lauded the duo of Barr. Ahmed Raji, SAN and the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Ecological Fund, Rt. Hon Sani Jaji, for constructing Central Mosques in Iseyin, Oyo State and Birnin Magaji, Zamfara State, respectively.

Oyedeji, who is the Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Ecological Fund, gave this commendation at the weekend, following the commissioning of the two mosques.

According to the lawmaker, the duo of Raji and Jaji did the work of Allah by building state-of-the-art mosques for His worship and their actions showed that they both love Allah and their people.

Raji, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, facilitated the renovation and remodelling of the historic Iseyin Central Mosque, which was commissioned by the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde and the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, while the Jummu’at Central Mosque, Birnin Magaji, built from the scratch by Rt. Hon. Jaji, was also opened on Friday.

Oyedeji added that the mosque projects demonstrated the duo’s passion and commitment to the growth of Islam and the well-being of their people.

He said: “I congratulate my Chairman, Rt. Hon. Sani Jaji and my big brother, Barr. Ahmed Raji on the epochal events of the commissioning and opening of Jummu’at Central Mosque, Birnin Magaji and Iseyin Central Mosque, Iseyin.

“In achieving these feats of building the Mosques, befitting edifices to worship Allah, they have served Allah and their people as they have always done over the years through different interventions and programmes.

“I recognize Barr. Raji and Rt. Hon. Jaji’s passion and commitment to serving humanity and I have no doubt that they will will continue to deliver landmark projects and programmes, while also continuing to actively contribute their quota to national development.”
