One half of music duo, P-Square, Peter Okoye, took the Globacom-sponsored Reality TV Show, ‘Dance with Peter,’ a notch higher during the week.
Peter, who is the show promoter, went on the audition stage to challenge a contestant who was making a ‘mess’ of the legendary ‘Bad’ steps of the late Michael Jackson.
Although Peter received resounding applause for his performance, the contestant got good telling off from dance queen, Kaffy who said: “Looking at you from here and given what we are looking for in this show, I say come back to your seat and you are ruled out of contest.”
The eventful audition followed with more drama as show host,  Ehis Okoegule, protested the ‘no’ verdict passed on the twin dancers, Oliver and Emmanuel Wilson, who despite a scintillating performance were sent packing for what the judges  described as “something missing.”
Okoegule’s stance forced the judges to retract their verdict, thus giving the contestants another chance to prove themselves.
Thirteen-year-old JSS III student, Angel Ukaro-Agunbiade, enlivened the audition with her nimble steps which easily earned her a ‘yes’ from the panel of judges.
With his girlfriend’s photograph serving as muse, Alozie Malachi, an ex- student of Nekede Polytechnic, Owerri, maintained Agunbiade’s tempo as he too received a ‘yes.’
The duo of Precious Ighofese and Hero Zaria of the Fire Flame, who travelled all the way from Ughelli in Delta State for the audition, noted that: “Coming to Lagos after we missed the Benin audition last week is very fulfilling for us ad as you know say Warri no dey carry last, expect the best from us. We go show the judges say dance dey Delta.”
