A clergy man, Rev Fr. Sebastian Sanni, has advised Christians to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and love as a way of overcoming the challenges facing Nigeria.
The Catholic priest stated this during a church service to mark the commemoration of Palm Sunday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, Utako, Abuja, on Sunday.
According to him, “The only way our country can be better and over the challenges we found ourselves, is for both the leaders and the led to Imbibe the spirit of sacrifice.”
The cleric said the commemoration of Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy week leading to Easter Sunday, an obligation in Christian calendar, which is celebrated by the blessing and distribution of palm branches.
