The police in Bauchi ‎have paraded 18 suspected criminals arrested in various parts of the state.

 While parading the suspects, the command’s spokesman, DSP Kamal Datti, said the police arrested Yakubu Adamu and Dalha  Mamman of Burga village for robbing and killing one Ahmadu Adamu at his residence in Zungur village of Bauchi Local Government Area. 

 The suspects, Abubakar said, later kidnapped four women and raped them at Tashan Mai Alewa Mountain and demanded for N1 million as ransom.

 He added that one pump action gun and a cutlass were recovered from the suspects who have already confessed to the crime.

 He said that police attached to the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (FSARS) also arrested Ahmed‎ Alhaji Yusuf in Lau village who admitted that he conspired with five others who were at large and kidnapped Alhaji Kalardi of Yumbu village, Warji local government and collected N100,000 from his family as a ransom.

 Similarly, two other suspects, Adamu Mohammed Wakisa and Usman Mohammed Kabir were also arrested for conspiring with four others, Iyali Danfulani, Ibrahim Tarazi, ‎Bafare Ya’u and S.K Small to stab and rob one Rufa’i Abubakar of his GSM handset valued at N35,000.

 One cutlass and a knife were recovered from the suspects according ‎to the police.
