The paramount ruler of the Adara people, Agwon Adara, HRH Maiwada Galadima iii, was abducted by gunmen yesterday with his wife while travelling from Kaduna to his palace at Kachia.

A source at Kasuwan Magani said the driver of the vehicle he was travelling in was found unconscious while nobody is sure what has happened to his guard and orderly as they are yet to be seen at the time of gathering this report.

“He left Kaduna for his palace at Kachia and his vehicle was intercepted by gunmen around Iddon,” the source said. The police public relations officer was unavailable for reaction.
