An Associate Professor at the Department of Biophysics and Cell Biology, Debrecen Universityý, Hungary, Dr. Attila Jenei, gave the advice during a visit of the university’s professors to GEC Academy International, a Nigerian 6th Form College.
Jenei cautioned parents against hurrying to enroll their children for overseas education at a very tender age.
He suggested enrolment for A’ Level or foundation programme locally to enable them come of age and have the requisite background to face the academic challenges abroad.  
Jenei, who commended Nigerian students at Debrecen University for their academic and moral excellence, said students desirous of studying general medicine, dentistry and pharmacy at the university must sit for external examinations.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director, GEC Academy International, Mrs. Josephine Peters, said the partnership was part of the college’s efforts to ensure that Nigerian students seeking study in foreign countries gain admission to study their course of choice.
