A non-governmental organization, Good Governance Group (GGG),has said that parents of students in Isale Oyo Community High School, Community High School, Ojo and Community Secondary School, Iyana-Idi Ose have renovated structures burnt by students during riots as directed by the state government. Students across the state torched the schools during riots over the ‘no automatic promotion policy’ of the Oyo State government.
The coordinator of the group, Mr. Gbolagade Olatunji said the parents have demonstrated the desired level of responsibility, noting that by renovating the schools, they have lent their voice and support to the government’s policy as well as taking responsibility for their children’s action.
